    ... it was still a bit of a slog because the path was entirely laid with stones and in some cases rocks. This meant you had to watch every step you took to make sure you placing your feet correctly.     ... and was quickly replaced with snow. Legitimate snow too, not tiny flakes that disintegrated but real proper snow.
