... so much fish that none of us could manage a dessert.

Back at the corner shop we purchased some bottles of beer and some lanterns and followed the crowds heading for the beach. Most of the shops and restaurants had closed by now and were having their own family parties with little barbecues set up on the pavement, music playing from nearby parked vehicles and copious amounts of beer. They all called out “Happy New Year!” to us as we passed.

... so there is plenty to work on!

The accommodation was exactly like camping, with multiple huts that could fit 6 average people in but on the downside no toilets so start digging your hole. The food the local people made was spectacular creating traditional lunch and diners for us and being able to learn some new cooking ideas to take back home was a bonus.
