... full of so much love. I think I'd done quite well at just getting on with our new life and adventure, of course I missed everyone but at that point all I wanted to do was to see my mum and tell her how much I loved and missed her!! I just about managed to hold it together (although writing this five weeks on, I got a bit tearful!).

... The end result was passable but we still appeared to have picked up the sound of the air-conditioning unit from next door but one!

I read by the pool for a couple of hours in the afternoon. There were just a handful of people there and so it was nice and quiet. The longstay German occupants of the bungalow to my right departed today and so the rooms either side of me were now empty.
