Greetings from Koh Phangan! Wow.... this island is designed purely for partying! We arrived here on the 6th April after a rather bumpy boatride from Koh Samui! There were a load of people from our university booked into exactly the same hotel as us... so random! Our hotel is absolutely beautiful.... it is situated on a private beach and we have a beautiful swimming pool... The food and drink is amazing (We have drunk our entire body weight in 30p pineapple smoothies! Koh Phangan is completely...
Koh Phangan, Thailand kateandian... during our time in Ko Pha Ngan I cannot say that it ruined my experience. I had so much fun with my friends that I had no time to let the chavs get to me. That, and the 50p Thai curries certainly meant my time here was enjoyable!

Whilst I am on the subject of Ko Pha Ngan I should explain that this functions as a party island. At the monthly full moon on the island Had Rin beach hosts an outdoor shindig which thousands attend ...
Ko Phangan, Thailand lbu05dk... speeding off to Japanese Gardens, a site next to an island just off the north coast of Koh Tao, and the journey took about half an hour. After being briefed by Simon, we sat around for a bit, helped ourselves to biscuits, fruit and drinks, then were soon putting on all of our equipment. I was now using six weights on my belt, much to Simon's amusement - he had no idea why I was so floaty! This time we leapt in to the water by doing forwards flips. It was our first ...
Ko Tao, Thailand alastair6... Whit and I had amazing hour long full body massages (one of the best yet) and then took a 5:30 p.m. Thai cooking class. The class was taught by a friendly Thai Woman named Chef Wi. We were able to choose form a long list of Thai dishes, ultimately selecting chicken satay as our appetizer, and our two favorite Thai dishes, chicken pad thai and shrimp tom yum soup. The class was very hands on. First we prepped the chicken satay by preparing the marinade and ...
Ko Phangan, Surat Thani, Thailand seasiabound... it a night.

The next morning we had some more beach time, lunch, and then massages for all four of us. 300 baht for Thai massages here, much more than the 120 baht in Chiang Mai. It was heavenly.

The next morning, it was time to say good bye to the fine folks at Simple Life as the JLos headed to Ko Phangan and we headed to Samui to sit and wait and wait some more for our flight back to Bangkok where we'd stay a night before flying out.
Ko Tao, Thailand vanessaau... as aways depressing anyway.Am really enjoying my e-mails from people and really look forward to hearing everyones news. Still getting bitten nearly every day and have come to the conclusion the the mossies here must be out all the time as I only ever put the repellent on after dusk.Hve also had to rely on senecot to make me go to the loo. Forget all this about not eating fruit and salads and raw stuff. Nothing is shifting and I'm eating about3-4 curries a week! On that note will ...
Ko Phangan, Thailand lizcap... sea. The taxi ride was quite rocky but fun.

We reserved a bungalow atop a hill overlooking Tanote Bay for $11 a night. Not the most luxurious of accomodiations as it had only a cold shower and the septic system constantly made itself known throughout the day and night - but the view was well worth it. We spent the rest of the day relaxing and enjoying the views.

The next day Michael took me out to do something I have never done ...
Koh Tao, Thailand izunia... English Mafia. You are not untouchable. You are not bulletproof. Wear your helmet and don't do anything stupid. The Thai police do not **** about. Those types of activity can wait until I leave.

p.s. Slpet naked in my bungalow with the door open as I recovered after the full moon party. I was reliably informed by a French man who noted this and brough anyone he could find to come and have a look. God bless the British abroad. Anyone for a Gary larger.
Ko Phangan, Thailand wickyjennings... we walked past a man crouched down on the side walk fiddling around with a trap. At a closer look, we realized he had a small trap with a rat caught inside it. He was trying to get it into a plastic bag. Before we could even look away he was killing the thing with a stick... and probably going to be selling it as "street meat", literally, that night for dinner. It was disgusting and funny at the same time because thats just what happens i guess.... note ...
Koh Tao, Thailand sarahandwill... on whilst attempting to walk what could be almost comparable with a tight rope with the sea beneath you, I must say we didn't want to be falling in!) when we did reach the cabin we were confronted with lots of essentially ground mats with pillows and blankets. It was simple! You certainly were quickly introduced to other passengers you would be sleeping next to! The weather was also not on our side. With locals saying that they haven't ...
