... Every time you entered the hotel from the lobby, you were checked by security through a screening point. It was different and unique.

I had a relaxing afternoon by going down to Kuta beach. I had to pass through the markets to get to the beach everytime. It was annoying and frustrating as they were begging you everytime I strolled through! Kuta beach was different as opposed to Seminyak. The juices come out so beautifully garnished, you can see why you pay a bit more over here than out our usual warungs.
Cost for 4 main meals and 3 juices and a beer was $24 aust. Not bad for a lovely beach setting in the breeze under the most glorious trees you will ever see. Full of squirrels playing.
I sit and gaze out to ...

... its grounds which is 300 years old, monkeys start to appear more and more frequent until we meet a small group who obviously know we have nuts for them. The monkeys are wild here but are used to people so are very tame. The guide instructs us to open our hand flat and let the monkeys take the nuts out of our hand. We progress to sitting down and let the monkeys sit on our laps then the guide holds one up by my shoulder and a monkey runs up my leg onto my shoulder. ...
