The staff at this hotel could not possibly try harder. they will do almost anything for, if management will let them. Our stay was almost perfect except that we were stuck with a room that appeared to have been damaged in a recent flood from the bathtub above and the mouldy smell was not pleasant. the stained and semi-collapsing ceiling were a give-away. We asked for a different room but unfortunately management is not as good as the rest of the staff. They didn't make it happen for us. Instead they put an air freshener in the room that was almost worse than the mould. Oh well.

We're only here for one night though before our plane leaves tomorr...Kuta, Bali, Indonesia joandkaa
Back on Bali now in the sleepy seaside villages of Amed. Actually the neighbouring
village is Amed, we're in Jemeluk and the next village is Bunutan but everyone calls the whole area Amed. Coming here from Gili T feels like coming from the big city to a small town. Which is quite odd considering how small Gili T is. We're staying at Galang ...
As soon as I was driven from the airport to Kuta – I knew that all would be well! I love this crazy island – and I felt instantly at home. The incredibly crazy driving along the extremely narrow and winding road from the airport (and elsewhere) certainly hasn't improved!
It’s funny that without even thinking about it,...
