I'm now in Koh Samui with Rachel and Lisha and it is a completely different world compared to HK. When I landed, there were no skyscrapers and the island was not entirely lit up. I managed to get to the hotel pretty easily. My first night, we went out to ARkbar, which was just a 5 min walk from our hotel, the Montien House. They had fire dancers which was super fun to watch and then we ...

... I have seen Thai boxing and I was very impressed with it. Half way through the audience was invited to get in the ring with a balloon tied to a leg and the idea was to kick -box and burst all the balloons and see who was left to win a prize. Mark and Deb went back to their room so Mark could send some emails and Paul and I headed to the beach for a massage. The girls were great and when they'd finished cut up some pink orange and mango for us and gave us some beach lounges to sit on. By this time Mark and Deb were down ...

... told that there would be a charge for our backpacks - 190 THB each. We refused. We were then told there may be a big bus but this would leave an hour later. We said we'd wait for the big bus.

We were then moved again to another agency / station down another back street where the driver went to speak with a lady. He instructed us to get out of the songtail so they could see our bags. They repeated again that they wanted 190 THB for each ...
