After a series of communication breakdowns they tried to squeeze us onto an already overcrowded boat that must have had at least 50 people on it (it looked like it would comfortably fit maybe half that many). We declined and asked to be taken back to our hotel. One of the women apologized to Shane, “very sorry sir, ordinarily plenty of space, but right now Chinese season!” Aha, so was that the issue?
