    I bought some tickets back in March to go see my niece's daughter (would she be my grand niece???) Caitlyn Smith perform in her home town of Cannon Falls, MN. She now hails from Nashville and has written song recorded by a plethora of country celebs to numerous to mention.

    ... the temp really low.....but that also meant eating Doritos and drinking beers for four hours while the chicken cooked. Naturally I was not opposed to that. Seriously though, Brian has some skills when it comes to grilling - which everyone pretty much knows already anyway. After dinner the kids were on meltdown mode.     Hit the 1000 mile mark on the way here and finally crossed the Mississippi River, then rolled into the hotel around midnight.

    Best $20 spent on the trip went to Kristen who washed our laundry while we slept. Three cheers for Kristen!
