We checked out of our hotel and went on a boat tour of Lake Placid. We enjoyed seeing the many "camps" along the lake -many with only boat access. ... at Dancing Bear always gave us an enthusiastic "yeah" with any request we made. Our breakfast waitress at Dancing Bear barely spoke beyond the necessary questions and comments. We ate dinner at Player's Sports Bar two nights. Cassie, our waitress was also an enthusiastic college students studying math. We also saw her at while eating breakfast around town.
The day dawned gray, overcast and rainy. Following a breakfast at Dancing Bears we headed to the Olympic Museum. Family Folklore: The kids are thrilled that there is a glass shower! The door to the bathroom has an etched design which doesn't cover the whole door so....anyone taller than the design can see right into the bathroom-a design flaw!
