We started our day with breakfast and a swim in our like warm roof top pool. This was a lovely relaxing start to our last day of the holidays. We then set off for the gold souk again as Richard had decided to treat Sue to a bonus gift of a pair of earrings we had seen the day before. ... Today we had a cab trip to 'The Palm' with a cab driver called Sarjid. The palm is a huge complex of very flash apartment blocks. We went under the sea to the furthest fronds. We looked over the sea and we could see Iran in the distance. The heat makes everything look like it's covered in a haze like fog. ... hard to explain but very fun). Finally today we visited ski Dubai in the mall of the emirates. We decided to try the skiing out, Harriet had a lesson whilst I went out onto the slopes. Harriet had lots of fun and I was able to watch her go down part of the slopes! Sadly we did not get any pictures though. I went on the big slopes and managed not to kill myself.
