I came to Sapporo last year with my friends. On the last day, I went to visit the Ainu museum in Shiraoi by myself. Since then, I got in the PhD program, and I am focusing on the indigenous issues. ... pas si froid la haut ! La 2e journee est vraiment pluvieuse, il neige meme en fin de journee. On la passe donc a visiter les grands magasins et la rue pietonne underground. On decouvre aussi les joies du cyber cafe a la japonnaise : enormes centres ouvert 24h/24 ou l'on peut venir quelques heures se reposer dans des petits boxs, boissons, soupes, glaces a volonte. Y'a meme des douches !

We're in Sapporo now and it's absolutely amazing. However the hostel is charging ten yen per freaking minute to use the internet - which adds up to roughly $10 AUD an hour.
