In Japanese culture it's customary for younger people to refill an older person's drink or if they are their senpai (senior in the work place).       ... was a day of errands. We started at the local ward office to notify them of us leaving and to settle our national health insurance account. While we were waiting I heard someone say "Jamie-san" and felt someone walk up behind me. One of the Super Kids moms was using the ATM. She was alone but asked if it was OK to bring her kids in to see me to which of course I agreed. They played shy when they came in, but it was neat to be recognized out in public.

      ... signs and there's just so much underground that I can't see just by walking by. I took Pamela's suggestion of a vinegared chicken dish and really enjoyed it. Like the soup curry restaurant I like, when you order your rice you have to let them know which size rice you want. There's only an extra charge if you want an XL portion, so I think it's great that they ask so you don't waste food. I thought I had ordered just regular-sized but I ended up with the small size.       ... the plague that Sarah and I had last week.
      After Super Kids Club finished we walked back to the subway at a quick pace because the sun had gone down and it was really cold.
