... were late 40's haha. But yeh that morning I had made a little gift bag for all my English teachers. It included a small bottle of champagne, chocolate and a written letter by yours truly saying how fantastic they were. As I gave the bags to the teachers 3 of the 4 cried. Then a 4th teacher who's name I hadn't actually known came up to me and spoke in perfect English about how much of a gentleman I was and started tearing up saying how much she'll miss me saying good ...

Sunday we headed out to the big church and got to meet someone new. David sat in the row in front of us, and we introduced ourselves after the service. He's German and is in Japan studying Japanese law. His wife wasn't with him, but she's from London. He's only in Japan for 2 months and is about half way done his time. ... During the warm up the kids only did static stretching i.e. standing still and bending over or pulling the arm across the chest and holding it. This annoys me because it`s pointless as it doesn`t warm the muscle up in any way meaning during the actual games an injury is more likely to occur. Anyway they were doing it so I did it. During one stretch my shirt was pulled up exposing my manly belly button hair (ladies…). Each girl next to me turned away and ...

... and then sat down to look into hotels for my dad's visit. In the afternoon I headed out to Otaru again. I was looking over the textbook for the class I would teach and the Japanese woman next to me leaned over and said, "I don't mean to be nosey, but that's the same textbook I use". Come to find out, she's an English teacher in Tokyo and all 250 of her students are on our island for a school trip. They are doing home-stays on farms and participating in activities related ...
