... people can forgive people for committing such horrific crimes and live with them. Then I should learn to do the same in my life
In the afternoon we went to the market place to look for souvenirs, then we watched a Thai/ Cambodia boxing match on tv, lounged by the pool and went to a stripe club to watch the final of the rugby world cup. After three hours we had had 6 beers, 3 cocktails and 2 spag bol, I was terrified to look at the bill till aaron informed me that it had cost ...
We caught an early bus from HCM to cross the border to Cambodia. It wasn't too far to get to the border. When we got to the Vietnamese side it was so corrupt. We had to pay $5 to get on the 'quick' line which took an hour. Everyone's passports got put together from the bus the person stamping you out didn't even see you. At first 30 or so prisoners arrived here to be killed two or three times a month. In the end more than 300 were ...
... well...little bit of home. We had a crazy time shopping for a few home goods. The place is fully furnished but no pots and pans, utensils, dishes or towels. We went to a local market..imagine being in Chinatown on a crowded street full of fruit and vegetable stands, duck into what seems like a little aisle way into a gigantic warehouse packed with tiny little store fronts crammed tightly together...aisles maybe ...
