Almost exactly 4 months ago, on April 10, we flew from Australia to Indonesia. In the intervening months we've traveled through 7 countries in Southeast Asia. What a trip it's been so far! With lots of similarities and plenty of differences between them all, we thought we would take the time, as we're leaving this part of the world, to look back on our experiences in the region and re-live some good memories.

... the needs of the farms.  No longer is this the case.  They are still transitioning in some areas as we saw some older pepper vines on wood stalks close by.  But, this is a great move.  Bravo Cambodia:)   Our hotel was a bit off the beaten path, as Ed stated.  But, we grew to enjoy it.  Especially the spa treatments, the warm hospitality, the wide smiles of all the lovely people working there and the children that accompanied them. ...

... very recent really. As killing fields were set back from anywhere, nobody knew it was happening. It was during the ruling of Pol Potts. He just killed anyone basically that could be an enemy, women, children, professionals. They arrived in truck loads, sometimea 300 a day.
