Another busy day...we were up early, had another superb breakfast with scrambled eggs,bacon, fried tomatoes, toast, muffins, brown bread, homemade jams...today we had cherry jelly with Pernod, Quince and apple, and pear and vanilla....very yummy. Sun was shining again and it is around 20. We left and drove first to Tomar where we toured the Convent of Christ...belonged to the Knights Templars... Very impressive and huge.. ...

... pleased to find the Boomer had not been towed as we had parked outside a church, on the footpath.( nowhere else or had 3.5 tonne limit!) Set off towards the north and Spain tomorrow, horrendous hail storm, thunder, lightening and torrential rain made us pull up. Finally made for a camp site near Mosteiro (São Giao) as the rain abated, cheap and we were the only ones there. The owners mopping up after an inundation before we arrived.
