... Down at the beach next morning it was like Mt Maunganui in the old
days. Little shops selling beach ware, Hawaiian-type shirts and shorts, fl0ating rings, etc. Lots of people, mainly the older brigade, walking, sitting,

... squat loo, first of the holiday and no doubt not the last! You'd think that the many childhood summer holidays spent in Thailand would have taken away the fear but somehow soft London living, well.. ... that this wasn't his family restaurant. We were so confused! It wasn't even as if he got anything off us! So strange! We headed back to the surf bar and had some beers, we then went to a Chinese nightclub MJ, which was crazy. We were popular and everybody wanted to drink with us and we got invited to so many tables! What a night! Best of all - Free drinks for the Westerners! Love being treated like we are special!
