... We enjoyed an amazing seafood lunch there. We got to pick our fish out of a bed of ice where they keep the day's catch and could see the days octopus hanging in the sun to dry. It was by far the best octopus any of us had ever tasted. Then the boys went swimming and jumped off a 20 foot tall rock into the water. Upon arrival at the top of the hill we were hot and sweaty, but it was completely worth the treck. A swim in the pool and a lovely rooftop dinner had us ...

... we headed home for a break from the sun stopping at the bakery for lunch.

We played cards and listened to music for around 2 hours almost slowly creating our own card game. ... marvellous. Aside from us there were four people from Melbourne at the next table who were very excited because the captain of collingwood footy club was sitting outside. Needless to say we hadn't noticed! Then the fireworks started although we had no idea why and all in all it turned out to be a very pleasant evening. A wine or two sitting on the deck looking at the dark waters with the twinkling lights of the town around us and it then was time for ...

... Of course, they speak limited English and said they hadn’t seen it. I could have left it in the cab, or at the souvenir shop visited while waiting for the bus. I tried not to let it ruin a perfect day. It was ironic though – that very morning, I’d told Michelle that I wanted to upload my photos, as I hadn’t since Venice. I thought about doing it that morning, but didn’t have time. I was going to do it that night. So all of my ...
