... the agent brings our ferry tickets and advice of the time of our departure. Trying to get this over the last two days has been frustrating. It was all prepaid in NZ but the ferry times vary so final arrangements were being made for us here closer to the time. If I knew then what I know now I would have arranged it myself to avoid the uncertainty of if and when the tickets and info. will be to hand. Got into Santorini last night, too late to see a wonderful sunset or anything. We're staying at a small hotel high up on a hill overlooking the caldera and got it all for a wonderful Groupon price. Our host, Yannis, was so happy to see us that he spent an hour with us pouring over the map to tell us where to go and what to see this morning. Our room is delightful and we have a small private balcony a few steps up and ...

... your feet. If you do go for this treatment, prepare to test your tickling tolerance - Josh could barely keep a straight face a few times!

Santorini also has incredible places for meals. Josh and I discovered a beautiful resort café that offered not only incredible picturesque views of the sunset, but also the most amazing pina coladas. We savored the drinks by sunset and quad biked back to our hotel. Truly an incredible evening.
