    ... then a coach to Volos which is where we are tonight. It is 29 degrees which is a welcome surprise for us.

    We trudged from the coach station to the hotel and I was sweating so much that I had sweat on the top lip, you know your sweating when the top lip is wet.     On the way back to the ship, we met our Alaskan friends. He wanted to continue to town, but she was not feeling well. She reminded us of the Ritva, our Finnish friend, looked, when we commandeered her to San Antonio, Texas on a lovely 105 degree day. The three us safely returned to the ship, its showers and air conditioning. Travellers from the a hundred years ago would not be very impressed with us.

    ... sandwiches. We then continued down the street and stopped at another restaurant. Here we used the internet for hours and had beers and stuffed peppers. I have to say these peppers were some of the best I have ever had in my life, and the only reason anyone would ever want to come to Volos. We headed back to the ship late afternoon and watched tv and read, before heading to dinner. We went to bed early since we have another early and packed day tomorrow.

    I awoke to the sun rising over Skiathos and the view of a yacht in the bay from my bed- was I still dreaming? The SA owner of Villa Ella, Lina and her daughter Christiana gave me a warm welcome the previous evening and had insisted I upgrade to this sea facing room with a balcony!
