Arrived at a very dull, overcast, damp port of Volos (Volos olives are
apparently famous) in the north of Greece but it didn't rain on us so
that was a blessing. The city sits on flat land at the base of Mt
Pelion almost 5100 feet high in a region known as Thessaly. Pelion

We continued wandering thru the little cobblestone streets stopping and window shoping along the way. We did find one little ...

I awoke to the sun rising over Skiathos and the view of a yacht in the bay from my bed- was I still dreaming? The SA owner of Villa Ella, Lina and her daughter Christiana gave me a warm welcome the previous evening and had insisted I upgrade to this sea facing room with a balcony! I rested , read, slept and watched the ferries and yachts come and go in the sparkling bay - it was interesting to see how the ...
