      ... the effort from what we have heard. I forgot to mention that we lost a wheel off one of the suitcases so I had to carry one suitcase, pull one and wear a backpack, I felt like a pack mule.

      I read in the newspaper today that the UK is settling in for some hurricane and wet weather, I have to admit we felt slightly smug when boarding the plane today if not a little sorry for poor old blighty.

      ... on Thessaly would have much more to do in it, and looked like it was just a 40 minute train ride away. We walked around town and finally found the train station, but everything was in Greek. The lady at the counter spoke a little English and told us we needed to take a bus instead, and pointed us in the direction of the bus station. We then made it to the bus station and had the same problem...EVERYTHING was in Greek. The guy at the counter here had a map ...

      ... with many more steps and finally some large boulders before reaching the top. There was the church which was quite small. There were beautiful views from the terrace surrounding the church. I then started my descent back to Dennis' bench meeting many cats and kittens on the way.

      I awoke to the sun rising over Skiathos and the view of a yacht in the bay from my bed- was I still dreaming? The SA owner of Villa Ella, Lina and her daughter Christiana gave me a warm welcome the previous evening and had insisted I upgrade to this sea facing room with a balcony!
