    Mixed reviews on the santika

Mixed reviews on the SANTIKA. Though the rooms were more than satisfactory and the breakfast buffet offered a wonderful selection of western and Indonesian food (though the coffee and tea should be served hotter) the hotel's location was disappointing. A drive to the city center takes between 20 to 30 minutes due to the traffic. Rooms we're clean and modern. The hotel has a lovely pool and there is free wifi. Except for location the hotel was great.

I find it quite a challenge to fill up sea days when they run several in a row. So what do I do? I go to the 7:00 am exercise class and on fine days try to get a couple miles walked up on the oval. I go to some of the lectures, if they are decent speakers and on subjects which interest me. That those two would go together is somewhat hit and miss. But there has been a chap speaking about the role of NZ and Australia in the Pacific ...

You will get a husband with a tomato allergy? The friendly soap-making-lady was very concerned that Antonia's allergy would severely hinder her husband options. We reassured her that Antonia would probably find a suitor who wouldn't mind too much! Spontaneously: What ...

Dae, my coworker from the DC area, was an Irish step dancer for years. Luckily for us, she also brought her step shoes with her. A bunch of the teachers from the center and a few other centers agreed to go out for St. Pat's and she had been asked by the owner of the bar to dance. Unfortunately it looks like the videos loaded sideways, but you can still check out her dancing.

We spent the night partying with a bunch ...
