... boarding pier of yesterday. Our private taxi whisked us off to Krabi to a great hotel in this resort. We dined by the sea overlooking the sand and seven islands of limestone pinnacles on the horizon. After sunset we stumbled into a bar for music and cocktails. Friday 6 March Koh Lanta Our journey took us by road and two ferries to Koh Lanta island for a stay of a full three nights in one place. From the ferry we took a taxi ride to another pier and waited for more people looking to go to Haad Tien Bay who we could share a water taxi with (from what we had heard, the only way to get there). After an hour or two's wait and a few beers on the dock, more people arrived looking to get there and we were able to find a 4 wheel drive taxi to share that was headed to Haad Tien. Apparently they are working on putting a road in over the mountain and while it ...
