... and gone to the INDOOR markets. I was very upset with this portion of the trip, and then it was back in the bus for the long trek to Johannesburg. Remember, we had just walked around in the rain and we are all soaking wet when we get back in the bus, and it is still pouring rain outside.

Robben Island was brilliant though! It was really interesting
and harrowing all at the same time. We were shown around the prison by a former
political prisoner who had actually served 8 years on the Island. When he was a
teenager his family were banished from their home town and forced to live in
substandard temporary accommodation on the outskirts of their old home ...
... A reunion of our tour group (after the Angola debarkel) meant that our night would continue at an Ethiopian restaurant where more drinks were in order for us. Drinks followed and our crazy time in Cape Town had kicked off with flying colours as we crawled into bed at around 2am.
