... his white dinner jacket, black trousers, black shirt and white bow tie. Our team performed admirably in the syndicate quiz finishing 1st equal on 17 points. However we lost out on the tie-break. The question was "How long was the Hundred Years' War"? There were 3 teams in the tiebreak. We thought 113 years and the other 2 teams went for 65 and 114 years. ... and incredible light. We
stayed in Cala San Vincenc, on the north side near the wonderful town of Pollensa (highly recommended). We lucked out with two beautiful warm days and one day of significant rain (Sunday). We explored Formentor – the stunning drive to the beach and lighthouse, the beautiful bay – swimming, paddleboarding, indulging in a beachside Italian lunch. We hiked one of the hundreds of amazing stone paths out ...

... told, there's not a lot here and although the village was definitely very pretty, I think I missed what the fuss is about! With all of these places though, half of the lure must be the drive to get there, going across the mountains with amazing views of the countryside and the coast alike. After these few hours of driving, we thought we deserved a little downtime and headed down to Cala de Deia (the beach). This was a lovely small secluded beach ...
