... these days (if I work hard at listening). After mass we walked down to the center of town--it is downhill . . . which means it’ll be uphill upon our return AND it’s 1.5 to 2 miles each way. It got considerably cooler as the day went on and I swear that I saw a snowflake or two in the midst of sprinkles. We found a trattoria from Tripadvisor and had a delicious, local and simple meal. ... tax returns, attempting to set up jobs in London, skyping with some intermittent beach lying and reading.

It was time to pull our finger out and make it to Rome. After being blown away by Greece, Rome had a lot to live up to. It was already on the back foot after looking at the prices of doing anything in the place. The drive from Vieste was calculated at a little over 6 hours. After ...

Who knew mosquitoes loved Italy too? Eventually we pushed the bikes through the soft sand for about a kilometer while fighting off and ingesting the mosquitoes ...

... the Norwegian fleet. I love that name! :D Our room is great! It is larger than our hotel room in Barcelona. Our room is on the very front corner (Forward) on the right side (starboard), cabin #8000. The only negative is that my bed is the top bunk. It reminds me of when I was 8 years old, when I shared bunk beds with Toni. It was fun back then, 50 years later, not so fun. The guy that cleans our room each morning turns the beds each evening and ...
