Being a more modern contruction, this tunnel was a higher one so didn’t involve the long distance squatting and ducking to avoid bumping my head the way as required for the tunnels on the walk along the older levada. There are no lights in the tunnels, so having a torch/flashlight of some sort is essential. Fortunately, I always travel with a small headlight I use for setting up my tent when I’m camping.
