Quiet day at home and yes another art museum on our day off. This was the Musée of Modern Art so kept young minds engaged - especially seeing crushed cars as "art". We were bloated for an hour after and everyone almost passed out from the fullness. We forced ourselves to go out and went to a bar to have a drink and watch the soccer. Apparently we were not supposed to have the heater and the blow dryer on at the same time. "No, no" were the only words ...

... spurting fountains, to the boardwalk to watch the sunset, Magic. I would have stayed longer but it got darn cold and I didn't have my jacket. Had been a fabulous day weather wise. In the mid 20's and sun shining, think I even got a bit of colour. I certainly have a watch mark on my arm now - will I ever need the thermals I'm lugging around with me!! Coffee back at Pinocchio's on my way home to warm up. There were two guys at the table beside me that did a runner ...

... Vuitton, Hermes, Bulgari Cartier …..all major fashion, leather, and jewelry houses have outlets there..The Casino is a stunning building , built in 1878...guards on the doors and the steps roped from the bottom of the road- many visitors milling around to drink in the opulence and people watch- . The few people we did see going inside, appeared to know what they were doing, and the guards stood aside to let them in (beautifully dressed). We were unsure what the criteria ...
