... all the way to Nice). We got on the first train easily (this one had a luggage compartment so I didn't have to hold up your suitcase the whole trip) and because it was a Frecciarossa it only took us an hour to Genova. We were hardly settled by the time we arrived. We stopped in Genova and got a bite to eat and punched some darts. The next train was a bit longer and slower, but we managed to get our own carriage together which was nice. We all slept and read and listened to ...

I know I don't hold my needles right but it ...

... the road is so narrow, it is amazing the glass on the buses is not shattered by the shrubbery on the high rock walls. as it passes by .We stopped off at Villefranche to view the museums under the Citadel (we missed on our visit a couple of days ago)…an impressive stone fortress ., complete with drawbridge.

The public transport is very user friendly - buses, trams and trains- all within a short walk of our apartment. A day trip to Monaco with Don and Susan on ...

... her daughter spent almost an hour bringing out outfit after outfit for me to try on. Hate to say it, but the clothing was not French but Italian made BUT.. who cares when the prices are so good & the clothes so gorgeous!! A taxi ride ride from Vence took us to St Paul de Vence: a short 10 min drive further up the mountain via a very windy road. The female driver ( a lot of taxi drivers are female here) had ...
