    ... up to where the fort was (Lou Casteu) and back along the waterfront. Magnificent views overs Nice. A little R&R for a our feet back in the apartment, body getting very tired , plus I had my new French boots on (new to me, got them in a vintage shop in Paris).     ... AND they were pretty much outside our window. The barge had set up about 500 metres off shore & the repertoire was phenomenal ! And the noise!!!     On May 1st we took our leave of Barcelona after a few hugs at breakfast with Larry and Kay. They are staying here for a few days for the "full Gaudi immersion". Although we would love to see more Gaudi architecture, we are due in Italy, and it's a two day drive.
