We arrived to Ljubljana late Friday night and just got to the hotel and hung out before bed. Saturday morning we headed straight to the caves. I have been to the caves before in Ohio like the Indian Taverns but this was amazing. There were parts where the cave was over 100 meters tall! Walked past Caffè Florian, it ...

... caught up on the history I missed in school... Padua - a university town, the 3rd oldest in Europe, where Galileo taught. We visited St Anthony of Padua Cathedral, gothic architecture. We are staying near Venice, on the Adriatic Sea. Lovely, lovely seaside town with a marble boardwalk, fine sand and the roar of the surf (collected seashells to show Hope and Chloe) Our guide arranged for a turkey dinner for us, an unusual meal for Italians, nice touch. Tomorrow Venice! ...
