We rented a car for a day and went for a beautiful drive. Scary at times because it was so narrow and you would accross a bus.... I closed my eyes for that part! The food was delicious and the people super nice.
Had a great time!
This summer I went to the Canary Islands with my friends. We did a lot of things there; we went to the swimming pool, partying, to the dune beach, and to the aqua park party...
Also, one day we went to one beach where there were a lot of water sports and we practised the motorskying, parasailing and a los of things.
Finally we come back to Spain with hangovers and our bodies very pained becouse we fell many ...
We have been working hard to prepare for the Atlantic crossing.
Geoff has become an expert supermarket shopper (watch out Mary!) with the fantastic support of Diane.

I have also managed to get myself winched up two masts, both 100ft, which was pretty hair raising but also very cool and apparently I need to climb more like a monkey - great I'll work on that! The skipper of the Cat is threatening that I be the one to climb up and check the rigging while at sea (both climbs were in the marina) ... Mmmm not sure about that!
... and some even dare to tempt fate and dress in t-shorts and shorts on.
At around 4pm we catch sight of the canary islands, and just as we have been discussing that there have been a distinct lack of dolphin visits, a huge pod of about 10 large white and grey speckled dolphins spend at least 30 minutes surfing and diving around our bow .we couldn't have asked for a lovelier welcome to Gran Canaria.
