      I decided to spend the morning sunbathing, so after I'd had breakfast and checked out I went a laid by the pool. I've quite enjoyed my time at surfers, even if it has been a little lonely! After sunbathing pretty much all morning Kirsten said she could meet me for 10mins before I leave, I had to pop to Coles anyways to get some bits for lunch, so I waited in town to hear from her but she didn't have time ect.. So I walked back to hostel and had lunch and it started to rain! Was crazy!! ...

      As we sat preparing our dinner a few of the local birds decided that they were brave enough to chance their luck for some food. Most of them only came within a few metres, but some friendly parakeets that were a beautiful red, green and blue colour came and landed on our arms, legs and even our head! We wondered why they were so tame but soon understood as another camper, who had a huge camera and was obviously a keen bird photographer ...

      ... Brisbane -"I don't know hunny I just live here!". Don't call me hunny you moron. With nothing to do we decided to change the bus to 1.10pm as surely if the information woman couldn't think of anything to see and do then we couldn't wait around in the rain all day.
