      ... was rainy each day we were there. But who cares? We're in Bologna! And, most of their streets in the center have arcades that cover the sidewalks. They are the arched, covered walkways that cool you off in the summer heat and keep you dry when it rains.

      ... out we saw some Maseratis (made in Modena) leaving the factory. This area really is super car heaven, with Pagani and Lamborghini also made close by.

      We made it to our hotel in North Milan in the late afternoon and stopped in for a very nice meal in the hotel restaurant. As this is a business hotel and it is the weekend, we managed to pick up a suite at a very reasonable price with the hotel being next to a station and closer to the lakes.

      ... mosaic tiles and lots of little bars and restaurants. All old but mostly well maintained. Main piazza and duomo had medieval look and were huge. Church was designed to be biggest in Europe till Papa stepped in. Taxi to Ducati 20€ for museum tour which had to be booked and was a bit disappointing cause factory closed this week.
