    ... for awhile and found the coastal path called Camino de Ronda from the email. We followed it to a 'Secret Cove' called Cala El Golfet. Well the word must have got out as there was hardly a scrap of stony beach to put our towels down but by this time we were so hot we muscled out a patch for our bag and towel and literally threw ourselves into the water.     ... great and we made sure they knew we appreciated them doing it so quickly. So tomorrow we will explore but in the mean time I had my first swim in the mediterranean and it was wonderful. We lay by the water reading our books and lapping up the sun and sea. Everyone is into getting their kit off over here no matter, age, race or size. Its enlightening to say the least.     A M ventured to Cadaques to tour Dali's house . After seeing museum and house I am now an official Dali fan ( wasn't before) Picnic on the way to Girona by way of lovely town of Besalu, and a swim at Banyoles. Stayed 2 nights at Pension Bellmirall .Tapas & Rosata for dinner. Breakfast on patio.

    To the old phrase " only mad dogs and Englishman go out in the midday sun", you may add KNBC cyclists. We headed off from Argele sur mer about 8 and headed down the coast. Spectacular scenery, but the idea that we were finished climbing quickly turned out to be a myth. Each village along the coast involves a descent with a subsequent climb on the other side.     ... curves - so annoying! Once we crossed into Spain the road became smoother, and the climbs seemed steeper, but the corresponding reward was long, sweeping downhills that were a joy to sail through. I even got to see the villa where Franco used to summer. - you know the area is beautiful when a dictator chooses to spend time there.
