Our first full day in Venice.
Temperature is 70 degrees with blue skies and low humidity.
We heard the San Antonio set new record low temp - nice.

We got up to early for breakfast at the hotel, so we started out on the streets to see what we found. Found a nice corner restaurant and noticed almost everything for breakfast was some sort of bread crescant. They looked great so we ordered 2 of those, 2 glasses of orange juice and some water ...

Red and white wine and bottled water were ...

I saw an “official” and it turned out there were several bags - all with their coloured ties on, sitting in the opposite corner of the terminal. She said they got separated … yes, well if they knew they were there and in the absence of any other bags being in the hall at ...

... is especially apparent from the style of the beautiful golden mosaics that illustrate various bible stories in the interior of the basilica. The basilica is also famous for being the resting place of St. Mark's remains, which are kept under the main altar. Venturing back into the square, we immediately got in our next line for the bell tower, or "Campanile". No available stairs this time, just an elevator. Given how tired my legs and feet ...
