... their skills that he ordered that they bring the head honcho from Murano to Versailles in France to take the brief for the glass and mirror supply when building that palace. Anyway, we endured the ferry ride in a stupidly designed ferry (almost all the Venetian ferries are of like design) where all the passengers sit so low you can't see out the windows at the horizon or the passing view - just sky! ) and after about an hour's trip ... of 409 bridges!

... and so enjoyable. The captain loads and unloads our luggage and gives me a helping hand. Phillip was left to fend for himself but he managed to come aboard without incident!
