I rode south wards from the city of Onomichi, crossing several island connected with bridges, to finally reach Imabari on Shikoku.     Settled into a hotel for the night. Ten dollars more and I have my own room and bathroom. Heaven.
    Quite hot and humid. Probably about 35 degrees. Makes walking hard and by the end of each day I feel quite exhausted. I see on the internet they are describing it as a heat wave in Japan and people are dying. However I wouldn't go that far.

    ... visit the temples. And it is up to every man and woman do choose their way of travel. Car, bus, motorbike, bicycle or by foot.. It's a personal choice.
