Our Adventures in Kochi
We met Miko, Miyabi and Yuuya at 10:30am in the hotel lobby. We first went to Kochi castle which was made up of a million steps it seemed. All five of us were out of breath when we reached the top. We stopped halfway to look at a huge statue of a man and his horse. The story about this statue was that a soldier married a woman and after a few years she gave her wedding dowry to her husband (approx $150,000) to buy a giant horse. A general in charge saw ...
Off To Kochi We Go
We took the Shinkansen to Okayama (about 40 minutes) and then a different train to Kochi. From Okayama to Kochi it was a 2.5 hour train ride. I didn't like this train as it made me very sick. I was saving my last 2 pills of gravol for the trip back to Tokyo so I ate some chewable pepto bismol tablets instead but it didn’t seem to help my nausea at all. I tried to type a little but got way too sick. Bryce read for most of the trip.
