... I am very good about booking what I work *coughcough*, hop on the train to get to Gatwick for my 5:00 flight to Barcelona. Pretty uneventful flight and arrive at Barcelona at around 8:00 PM (hour time change from London). Upon arrival, head directly to the train station located at the airport. Having done my research I understand this is the best way to get to the city and that one of the stops is actually a 3 minute walk from my hotel. ...

After waking up feeling 'more tired than anything', it was time for a visit to Gaudi’s masterpiece, La Sagrada Familia. This is one crazy church! Again, maybe my inner ‘Altar Boy of the Year’ was calling me. Construction started in 1882 and it still continues today. Upon the completion of the main nave in 2010, it was consecrated as a ‘basilica’ by then Pope ...

I much prefer boots than shoes but they take up a lot of space, gonna have to travel in them next time or buy some shoes :(

Now it was time for a real sunset cocktail on the rooftop bar of the Mandarin Oriental. The views were spectacular and the area included a "dipping pool", I ...

... will sleep very well tonight.

It's hard to believe that we have only been here for a short time. Tomorrow I have arranged for another free walking tour - this time a Gaudi Tour with the same company Runner BeanTours. Afterwards we'll be doing an audio tour of La Sagrada Familia. We look forward to what we'll see and learn tomorrow.

      Until then......
