      ... All sorts of dignitaries and reporters were on hand for the unveiling.

      There were all sorts of artefacts and curios from the past 160 years, including the helmet shaped decorations that used to adorn the opening of a tunnel.

      We had 3 hours at the museum, 2 of which was to look around and another hour for lunch. That was probably more than enough time for me.

      Final preps done and just relaxing today. Marc giving his last seminar. They are giving us a goodbye party this evening and heading home tomorrow.       Making last minute preps for trip home. Organizing, laundry, extra food, etc. We are going to Tokyo tomorrow to Art Museum which has antiques and artifacts from region. We are also meeting with our dear friend Kazu's two daughters which we have not seen in 16 eyars. Last time we saw them they were in their teens and now beautiful young women.       So for me this semester has been much less about the Japanese language and much more about what happens after this year.
