... climbed about 50m to get some brilliant photos. It was a very steep climb and guess who stumbled?!? Luckily Lorne was behind me and he managed to steady me!!! Lunch stop was at a very well set up place. Very Austrian looking buildings and people in traditional costumes serving. We had some goulash soup, not as nice as the soup that we had on the Rhine cruise. But it was still very nice! As we arrived in Innsbruck ...

... There are hiking trails basically out our door, as well as several working goat and agricultural farms.

There are a few big box stores. No Costco (fridges/cupboards too small for the "family size" products), but we did hit IKEA. Strange, I know, but you can't beat their storage solutions or the price. Today we explored the old town (mostly because I wanted some apple strudel). ...

When we returned to the Gasthaus for the car, I chatted to the main waiter of the restaurant there and he also lives in Hall and loves his town. He said most people in the ...

... did so great, even the guides were impressed.

I did participate in the less height (holy **** I might actually die) related activities. We hiked the paths around town and into the mountains, went to the community pool (down in the warm town at the base of the mountain). We took cable cars up to the top of a couple of area mountains to check out the views and we also did our favorite thing ever!

Mountain roller coaster. Yes…I just said MOUNTAIN ...
