So here we are in Galle ( pronounced Gawl) but Muslims say ( Gallay) and Tamils say ( Gallee) so all very open to interpretation.

... captain suddenly changed direction, the wind was soon back and we were popping over big waves once more. Hanging over the front of the boat, I was catching the best of the breeze, and the spray as it coated the front of the boat.
