    We decided to take a day trip on Sunday to Verona, the city of love, before returning to Roma. I am so glad we did! We woke up bright and early to catch the water bus to the train station. Then we boarded our train to Verona, It was a very quick trip! It only took us a little over an hour, we were in Verona before we knew it! After arriving, we found a map and started to figure out how to reach the historic center of Verona.

    ... back for the hair treatment. The bad thing about the hairdresser only speaking German is that I had to remain most of the time as translator, there are only so many magazine you can look at.     Lovely to have blue sky for a final walk down to the lake at Bardolino - where we have thoroughly enjoyed staying, as it is small and quaint. The apartment was just great but rock hard beds.
