... from lockers, pick up the bullet train back to Tokyo (quick peek at Mount Fuji on the way), then the Narita Express to the airport, a 3 hour plane to NaHa in Okinawa, a ride on the monorail and a taxi for the last few hundred yards ( which we could have walked if we could have read the hotel sign, which was completely in Japanese). We have hired a small apartment for the 4 days we are here, complete with a seperate bedroom, a washing machine and a small kitchen. ...

I talk to everyone sort of and make friendship bracelets and braid someone's hair, I'm so suited to hippy island life. I teach everyone about travellers . Then li spend the rest of the evening sitting outside with the Algerians. Another random turns up with pork sushi and then peaches. Someone starts singing Christmas carols and it's defiantly time to go to ...

    Monorail

... do something cool but it doesn't. Just my luck to find another castle but this one is pretty cool. The next big tourist thing here is the "paved walkway" which is just what it says on the tin, and pretty underwhelming. We've arranged to go to the beach when Mari finishes work so it's the mono rail back. I sleep in the middle of the common area and then we do go. It's beautiful the water is like ...
