    Vivid. Intricate. Lavish. Dazzling. Kimono.

... These are the most incredibly extravagant, flamboyant, mix and match, vividly patterned Kimonos you may ever see. They are meant to be visually appealing and exotic, so they implore many colors, sparkling metallic threads, and full blown scenes playing out across the robes to convey stories or seasons. The obis are rich in color and often intensely bright against the Kimono itself to be alluring balance. The obi can be tied with many different ...

The precision was stunning, and the overall aesthetic of their uniforms, ribbons, white gloves and widely waving flag was unlike I've ever seen before. I couldn't take my eyes off it. ... I should be finishing the "beginner" course next week and then will progress to the deep diving course! See some of the pictures of me training! The first day for openwater dives was the best on Ojimi Island, as the weather was beautiful. I took a lot of pictures there and enjoyed a nice lunch.

Beyond work, I have also been trying to have a social life. Though things started out strong here, now it seems ...

I now have a cold. The hot weather is masking some of my symptoms. I pushed myself out the door at 8:30 am to catch the fast ferry to Aka Island. For the first 30 minutes of the ferry ride, it took all of my energy not to vomit. I don't have the strongest stomach, and being sick almost pushed me over the edge. I remembered to consciously breathe to regain my composure. Holding it back took more concentration than ...
