The Good, The Bad and the Tugly
... so our only choice was to return to our “favourite” hostel and hope they had space.
Graeme and I jumped in a cab and away we went. The only trouble was that we had relied on Bryan and his GPS guidance system to get us there in the first place so we didn’t know how to direct the driver back to the hostel. In addition he spoke absolutely no English. Luckily, Graeme had remembered it was near a giant pachinko sign and we drove around until we ...

After we ate, we went into the village to see the history ...

... Shuri Castle - home to the Ryūkyū Kingdom. The original castle was built in the 14th century. It was destroyed several times by different events including the end of WWII. They started reconstruction after that. The new castle is elegant and impressive.
It was very hot Sunday, and the heat on the castle stones was overwhelming. Shekar and I decided we needed something to drink. I'm sure we were ...
