... that were bought between us. It's a super market with so much choice and the people on the stalls were full of fun.We walked along the coast to a restaurant where we had another lovely lunch, wherever we go the staff are always very attentive to us. The views from where we sat again looked out to sea always lovely to look at whilst eating. After, we walked to the hotel where Daniel and Gill are staying and the staff were happy for us to use their facilities as ...

... best beaches at home. I had been warned, but Turkish beaches are really just rubble and rocks at the endure of the water. In essence, it's very pretty from a distance but not great to walk on. So we turned back for our little pier and found a water sports pavilion from where we hired a jet ski. This week has been another enjoyable and relaxing time in Yalikavak, the good old Dolmus has got us around cheaply and on time to wherever we needed to go. On Monday after our morning swim we decided to do the coastal walk from the town centre around as far as we could go past the beaches and hotels. Being very hot this was quite a challenge so we had our first ice creams of the holiday to cool us down on our walk.....well at least that's our excuse, but they were very ...

Can't believe we have been here a week, it seems a lot longer and with any luck we have another month to go. After breakfast each day we go and have a swim in the pool, the water and sun are both lovely and warm so it's a super way to start the day and wake your body up, well that's what we tell ourselves.....As the Turkish and English families who holiday here have gone home, we always have the pool to ourselves which is great so we can choose where we sit and where we want to ...
