... on his crutches as he felt one of the screws inside his knee had worked it's way loose. He stayed in the car for the ferry trip. We arrived at Sami in Kefallonia and headed straight to the hospital. We were all a bit worried that the doc would have to open his leg back up! We were really thrilled to find Andy smiling and much happier after the doctor had seen him. The screw had worked it's way out so they took it out!! Apparently with minimal fuss through a small incision. ...

This morning after a leisurely breakfast. Marky and I borrowed Marco's car and headed off to Vathi. Marky was wanting to check on our Greek wedding paper work! ... ends up, 10 years later, with all men dead and and having to kill a bunch of guys who are after his wife. Comparatively, he had a much rougher time but I am pretty sure Homer embellished the story a little. On our last day on the beautiful Greek Island of Ithaca, Joanne and I were guided on a mountain walk by a Dutch woman who lives there. Her name is Ester Von Zuylen and she showed us ruins that some archeologists think are the palace of Odysseus. The place was ...

We had a lovely sleep in and then went for a delicious swim in the crystal clear sea. It's soooo turquoise blue! You can see to the bottom of the water it is so salty and clean! The weather has been amazing 26 degrees. We then wandered into the village and had a lovely coffee. We ordered a Greek salad and saganaki (fried haloumi). God we are just getting so fat! The Greek cheeses are delicious and the beers good too. However, their red wine ...
