Today we had somewhat of a slow start. Fernando and I are definitely feeling the jet lag from the last few days if traveling. I crashed pretty hard and early on Day 1. I woke up in the middle if the night to Fernando hanging out in the bathroom drinking beer and eating snacks. and introduced myself, we chatted a bit and hit it off instantly. Jean has been

... Cape Town, in the leafy, exclusive suburb of Higgovale. With just 7 rooms, the setting is intimate yet understated, modern yet warm with service as you would expect...quality. On entering the room I was greeted with underfloor heating (nice given it was a chilly night), candle lit bedroom and bathroom, balcony overlooking the city and Table Mountain and again, an array of chocolates which were promptly destroyed. Facilities included complimentary Internet, laptop ...

... and great meeting places. Downed more than a few last night... a very active meeting session.
Did the apartheid museum yesterday... a must do. Very well presented... what a sick episode in SA history. Sadly, though officially over, too many of the old attitudes remain... reinforced unfortunately by the activities of the Devil's little helpers!
