      ... came and got the boy and, as he was walked around the field for a TV interview, was given a standing ovation by the stadium, his bows and waves showing his great elation. Hugo and Gareth disappeared for most of the game down to the hill and Ridgey returned without his phone, the third time he has lost it whilst away, and unfortunately it was third time unlucky, with the phone yet to be returned.

      19 hours laterI have arrived in South Africa! Both flights went without a hitch. Both planes were plagued (harsh?) by children and babies galore plus a little lad who had ADHD and Tourettes but it was all good, they were fine and I was in too good a mood to let it annoy me. The food was great -for plane food anyway- plus I was ravenous by the 2nd flight so I just wolfed it down! I love flying and I did miss having a companion (Frankie!) ...
