... came and got the boy and, as he was walked around the field for a TV interview, was given a standing ovation by the stadium, his bows and waves showing his great elation. Hugo and Gareth disappeared for most of the game down to the hill and Ridgey returned without his phone, the third time he has lost it whilst away, and unfortunately it was third time unlucky, with the phone yet to be returned.

We began our journey yesterday (Friday) in Hartford. We left the house around 1:15 (just so you get an idea of total travel time) for our 3:25 flight to Atlanta. The Rule of the Road in nearly all former British colonies is to drive on the left with right-hand-drive vehicles. Additionally, this is a manual transmission. I've plenty of experience in both, but it's been a few years. Staying focused is really all that's necessary to manage driving on the left. ...

... now she is talking my wavelength. However it would just be me not Graeme. Could I ? Doors closed, the seat I front of Graeme was free, the air hostess approached the woman next to him and she moved up a row. No upgrade for me then. Long flight, 11 hours, half way through the night a couple of Dutch people were stood up talking loudly. Couldn't sleep, got up, told them off in a grumpy ...
