    On Tuesday 18th November we left our hostel in Point Loma and headed for Coronado Island. We were checking into another hostel in the downtown area that afternoon.

    We drove across the Coronado Bridge and admired the beautiful views across San Diego Bay on route. Our first stop was Coronado Beach and the historic Hotel Del Coronado, also known as The Del.     ... along the rocks we see crabs, fish and sea anemones in the pools. We walk all the way back along the beach, climbing over the rocks when necessary to the surfers beach which is just down the road from our hotel. By now the sun is starting to fade so we reluctantly head back to the hotel to pack ready for our flight home tomorrow :-(
