    ... tide pool!! When we'd controlled our laughter, we headed to the next stop on our route, which was Ocean Beach. Here we found a high street of shops to wander into and then made our way down to the beach!     ... The hotel was huge and opulent but in slightly kitsch style with chocolate-boxy murals that were commissioned by the square yard rather than on artistic merit.
