    ... aquarium is a zoo with penguins and all sorts........ Meadowhall (where I have never been thank goodness) and Milton Keynes eat your heart out! My favourite outlet was the Bateel Date emporium otherwise know as date heaven. We tried several which were truly delicious, sweet and creamy.......mmmmm! Pure calorific gold!

    Before heading home we picked up some groceries. Next door was a 'hole in the wall' where alcohol could be purchased. You must have a residency card before applying for a liquor licence card needed to purchase beer or wine.

    ... really knows what it is. I have really enjoyed Dubai but having now spent the day at Abu Dhabi I would love to spend a lot more time there. It is a very different world, Dubai seems maybe a little ostentatious and over the top whereas Abu Dhabi seems like it hasn't quite caught up yet even though Abu Dhabi is the capital of the UAE.
