It doesn’t and next day we’re off to Paris on a fast train (TGV) looking forward to getting up to 300km/hr.

A much better day today. We covered 219km without incident. The roads have been much nicer, if a little hilly, the weather better, apart from a pesky headwind, and the bike has been going well.
