... sadness during the month of December. On December 7th, we lost a very special little girl, Savannah. Savannah was my niece Lori and her husband Brandon's daughter. Savannah was truly a little angel and continues to be an angel who is watching over everyone who loved her. There are many broken hearts over her loss and we continue to pray for Lori, Brandon and Cody.....beautiful memories will make each day a bit easier. ...

... s nice to get some exercise. There are plenty of activities planned throughout the month (e.g.., bingo, dinner dances, breakfasts, line dancing, crafts, etc.)....we really haven't participated in any of these activities, but may do so before we leave here. First, Happy Belated Thanksgiving!

Our Thanksgiving dinner was a potluck at the clubhouse in the RV park. The park provided 3 different styles of Turkey (baked, smoked and fried) and a Ham. The hundred or so people that came ensured a huge variety of tasty treats (at least 30 different dishes). Everything we tried was good, and we even managed to pile up plates for leftovers. Missed the family of course but we had a great meal.

The people are so friendly.....it is definitely a close community - they love Texas and love Rockport.........they are truly proud Texans. Driving around the area reminds me a bit of cape cod.......just better.

Rockport is close to so many place.....Corpus Christi, Padre Island, Port Aransas ---- lots to see and do. There are a variety of parks in small quiet neighborhoods with tropical ...
