Oh the road up north was long, though enjoyable. We've been listening to Journey and french radio all the way! I applied for a special Mastercard just exactly for that purpose; gas, emergencies and being able to book a few things in advance. I'm still excited to leave, but my heart is sad. On our way to Ottawa, we visited Parc Omega. It's a wildlife park with 10km of road through parkland/forest where loads of animals live. As you drive through you can open car windows (or bus doors) and feed the animals - well the deer at least. Best not to try and feed the wolves, coyotes ... or bears! We did see ...

Today I got up and had some pancakes for breakfast and hit the road at about 10.30am heading for Toronto. Our first stop for today was at Ragged Falls, another set of falls that looked quite good. It was a short hike to the falls so it was good to get the blood flowing and get eaten alive by bugs. I took a few photos and then continued on to our next stop which was a fire tower in Dorset.
