    ... It has been 7 years since I walked the vibrant streets of Nova Scotia's capital city. It has been 9 months since I have seen my daughter (we text and chat on the phone and occasionally FaceTime, but not the same as in-person!).

    ... we popped in. I had pizza which was fine and John had fish’n’chips. Neither of us was very hungry, which was just as well as John reckons this was probably the worst meal he has ever had. The fish had been frozen and the batter was crumbly, the lettuce was limp and the chips soggy. The waitress also mentioned that the tables hadn’t been cleared as she had been so busy.
