... bottles of water and a few biscuits!The train took us to St Leonard's where we are catching up on washing, Le Tour and salad. The weekend will be spent with the family then it's back to France for a summer of family, friends, wine and rides out on the bike!

This Spanish trail had been something Nick had been plotting for some time. I would find him looking at Mr Michelins's guide to Northern Spain, looking at flight times, or websites of Spanish hotels. Eventually when I asked, he simply said "We need to be in Salamanca on October 20th."
