Online check in proved to be only marginally faster than not having checked in. The check-in man mucked around for ages with our boarding passes and passports and we have no idea what the hold up was. All we know (because he told us at least twice) is we'll have to pick up our bags in Melbourne, they won't go all the way through.

... of them and they don't notice but if a leaf hits the ground they were off like a shot. barring that, my main concern was scraping the horse poo off my pant legs whenever we came back home.

the whole area is a dog walking mecca which translated into some strange sightings breed wise. a lot of HUGE dogs about. we're talking Burmese mountain dogs, Irish Wolfhound, Great Pyrenese & a few Mastiff's. ...

... Millie's school friends mums. I've been on several hen nights and weekends. I'm back to doing the recycling and housework. Hoovering with a crying baby and the weekly grind of deciding what to feed my family, buying it, cooking it with Rupert protesting and then being too fed up to eat it myself. ... a nap and set my alarm for an hour after. Ten minutes before my alarm went off, I woke when two people entered my room. I jumped at the chance to make some friends so sat up from my top bunk and started a conversation. They were two German guys, one had just spent three months doing an internship in Swansea, Wales and the other was his mate who had visited for a few days. They were just having a nights stop over on their drive back to their German hometown.
