It was in a town aptly named Hope that Shan thought it be a good idea I do my first stint of driving.. mind you he had driven the last 2000kms (good boy!!) ... is strange. Usually it's on at midday in Aus and everyone is hungover by the pool or on the deck or playing backyard cricket. But it was kinda cool it was on while we went out. ... of another bird in a tree nearby. He was visible to the eye but hard to capture on camera amongst the leaves. He had grey plummage and was quite fluffy so he may well have even been a juvenile. It was turning out to be an exciting visit. We didnt see any skunk cabbage or have the opportunity to smell their pungant aroma (thank goodness) as it was the wrong time of year but on the remaining walk I did manage to spot a birds nest and a few more frogs.
