... and we lost an hour in time difference, now we are in the Rockies, through Yoho National Park, and as it was getting quite dark (around 7-7:30pm) we missed Emerald Lake but probably see tomorrow, but got a taste of what was to come with a detour to see the Natural bridge.
Got into Banff well and truly dark about 8:15, dinner cooked again lasagne, or burgers.
By the time sorted room, showered etc bed ...
... whine menu and rare expensive liquors.
What a luxury experience. I did realize that after landing, when I had to wait in Toronto for a late plane and the horrible flight of 4 hourse in a plane full of 16 year old teenagers coming back from a class trip.
Luckily Scott got me from Calgary Airport and we could spend the next 6 hour wait sleeping in a hotel room, till we finally arrived in Kelowna on Friday morning.
What a day!
Snowboarding everyday, getting more and more confident. Working more not and getting tips. Busy period for work because of the lead up to Christmas. Went down to Kelowna to get my Samsung tablet with a Russian dude Marcel and Chris. On the way home Marcel picked up 3 guys from Wagga. Lauchlan Jackman knew Elle and Steve because he played for east Wagga. Small world! The boys came for a ...
... Hopefully they can fix him up. Dinner was a Swiss mushroom bacon cheeseburger. Mmmmmm Mmmmmm good. Looks like someone will need to hit the gym when they get home. This time zone thing can really screw with a persons habits. It's 9:30 and feels like its 12:30. I am also up early. I usually go to bed early but this is ridiculous. Going home is going to take forever as we will be losing 3 hours.
