We are leaving Savannah, GA today and sailing directly to the North Central Bahamas.

For those who are interested in a little "nuts and bolts" passage planning - Here is a link to a video of our weather router (Chris Parker) recorded this morning. I ask Chris to comment on our plan.

... landing area that looked quiet. There was a sign that said they allowed 48r parking so we assumed we could just stay the night. At some point in the evening a police officer came and told us to leave but after Chris showed him the sign he said we could stay. Technically I think the sign was for people who had gone boating could leave their cars for 48hrs but it was ambiguous so we won that round. ... but it is still raining! Headed to the Holiday Inn Tiki Bar on the beach - closed due to lightning (UGH)! Decided to cut our losses and head back the the RV. Could have been a better day if the weather was nicer.
