... to pick up some fresh shrimp for the grill. We stopped at Gay Fish Company, a family owned fish market that has been there for a long time and was the filming location for the shrimpin’ in Forrest Gump. When we got there a boat had just pulled in and was unloading laundry baskets full of delicious crustaceans. Today we arrived in Savannah, and straight away it looked so nice. The houses have so much character, but they're also so grand and old. There are so many trees, and the streets are lined with big trees with the moss hanging off them, which is so typically southern, and the grass in the parks is so green. Today we arrived in Savannah and settled in at Mark and Sara's for few days to get ourselves organized.
