... anyway, I suppose that’s why they all have a swimming pool

The bits of beach I did find just seemed to be a dumping ground for boats anyway

I was hard work trying to find anything worthwhile to photograph, the whole place has a rundown feel and look to it

I don’t know if the people on the streets are just being friendly or just saying that to get you into their shops, well I never went in any or bought anything, but they ...

I swam down to a few of the divers and waved, but they didn't seem too exited to see me. The reef was actually nice but after a while, the high amount of salt made it hard to be in the water so we read our kindles on ...

This is going to be short because I have written so many blogs and then not been able to send them and it's very frustrating! If it's successful then I'll send another tomorrow. When I booked this trip we were supposed to be going through the western deserts of Egypt but Fco advice stopped all that and we've been diverted to the Red Sea. Consequently ...

... the sound of it). In fact, they are fast becoming the new “holiday yobs” of Europe, putting us and the Krauts in the shade (quite literally). Those all-inclusive all-you-can-eat meals must seem incredible when you’re used to queuing 2 days for half a sausage and a stale loaf of bread, and many of the guests seemed to be stocking up for several months.

The diving had tired us both out so we didn’t partake of the evening entertainment ...
