We bought some tickets for the airport bus for 500 yen each and took a 35 minute ride to Osaka Itami airport.     ... check in, just time to dump our bags & off we went for a walk around the town we went to a museum, a shrine, the Takayama festival float exhibition hall, we then went to the old part of town.
